Fady Kerko is a New York based actor born and raised in Cairo, Egypt and comes from Venice and Tampa, Florida. A proud alumni of the University of South Florida, Fady has a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication.
Recently, Fady appeared as Detective Fareed, a recurring Co-star, opposite Liev Schreiber on season seven of SHOWTIME's hit series RAY DONOVAN. He also Co-Starred as Kamile, the local bodega worker, opposite Natasha Lyonne (Orange Is The New Black) on the NETFLIX hit series Russian Doll. Some of his notable credits include NBC's spinoff show The Blacklist Redemption currently streaming on CRACKLE, and CBS hit show Madam Secretary.
Recently, Fady took part of a photography exhibit titled Typecast which is dedicated to actors of color whom are stereotyped in the entertainment industry. The project highlights each actor's typecast role versus their ideal role. The exhibit has been picked up by The Washington Post online for the month of March.
In June of 2019, Fady was cast in the role of Khaled for the first run of the play Drowning In Cairo, written by Adam Ashraf El Sayigh and directed by Celine Rosenthal. Other notable roles include an Off-Broadway run of GOLDEN BOY by Clifford Odets playing Siggie and directed by Aaron Latham (screenplays Urban Cowboy and The Program) and Graydon Gund. As well as Lyle Kessler's Orphans playing the role of Treat.
Fady is fluent in Arabic and English. He does different accents, which have lead to several Voice Over projects including the app video game "Boom Beach" and ESPN Documentaries to name a few.
When Fady isn's performing you can catch him either playing soccer and tennis, spending time with his family or hanging with his friends on The M.A.SH Podcast (Movies And SH**) as they sit down and talk about anything and everything from films to comics to current events even toys.
He is currently represented by Annette Alvarez of Multi-Ethnic Talent and Maultsby Talent Agency.
